Getting There

    If you're driving from Shillong, take the NH6 highway heading towards Jowai. After approximately 60 kilometers, you will reach the town of Jowai. Continue on the same road for about 15 kilometers until you see signs for Nartiang. Turn left onto Nartiang Road, and follow the road for about 5 kilometers until you arrive at the Nartiang Monoliths. Parking is available near the site.

    To reach Nartiang Monoliths via public transportation, first take a bus or shared taxi from Shillong to Jowai. Buses leave regularly from the Shillong bus station, and the journey takes approximately 2 hours with a fare of around ₹100-₹150. Once in Jowai, you can hire a local taxi or take a shared taxi to Nartiang, which is about a 30-minute drive away. The fare for the taxi will be approximately ₹300-₹400. After reaching Nartiang, follow the signs to the Monoliths, which are located about 1 kilometer from the main road.
