Once you reach Suryanelli, take a left turn towards Kolukkumalai; the road will become narrower and more winding. It is advisable to use a vehicle with good ground clearance, preferably a 4x4, as the last stretch of the road to Kolukkumalai is rough and unpaved. Be prepared for a drive of about 1.5 to 2 hours from Munnar. Parking is available near the tea estate.
