    Car

    From Munnar, head south on NH85 towards Suryanelli. Continue for about 18 kilometers until you reach the Suryanelli junction. Then, take a left onto the Kolukkumalai road. The road will become narrow and winding, so drive cautiously. After about 9 kilometers, you'll reach a checkpoint. Inform the guards of your destination; there may be a small fee for entry. Continue on the unpaved road for another 5 kilometers until you reach Kolukkumalai Tea Estate. Parking is available at the estate.

    Public Transportation

    From Munnar, take a local bus heading to Suryanelli. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around ₹50. Once you reach Suryanelli, you can hire a local jeep or auto-rickshaw to Kolukkumalai. The jeep ride will cost approximately ₹500-₹700 and takes about 30 minutes. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
