Foot
If you are starting from Mysore Palace, head north on Sayyaji Rao Road (also known as D. Devaraj Urs Road) for about 1.5 kilometers. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Mysore-Bangalore Road (NH 275). Cross the road carefully at the pedestrian crossing. After crossing, turn left onto Mysore-Bangalore Road. Walk about 2 kilometers; you will pass by J.S.S. Dental College on your right. The Sri Nandi Temple is located at 173/1, S.S. Nagar, near the college.
Auto-rickshaw
From the Mysore Palace, you can hire an auto-rickshaw. Tell the driver 'Sri Nandi Temple, near J.S.S. Dental College.' The ride should take around 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the temple located on Mysore-Bangalore Road.
Public Bus
If you prefer using public transport, you can take a bus from the Mysore City Bus Stand. Look for buses heading towards Bannimantap. Ask the conductor to drop you near J.S.S. Dental College. Once you get off, walk about 5 minutes towards Mysore-Bangalore Road. The temple is located at 173/1, S.S. Nagar, just a short walk from the bus stop.
