Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Agra via NH19. For those starting from Delhi, take the Yamuna Expressway (approximately 3 hours) which connects directly to Agra. Once you reach Agra, follow signs for 'Agra Fort' and park at the designated parking area nearby. The fort is located at Rakabganj, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282003.
Train
For travelers opting for train travel, board a train to Agra Cantt. station from major cities like Delhi, Jaipur, or Lucknow. Trains run frequently and take about 2-3 hours depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Agra Cantt., you can take an auto-rickshaw or taxi to Agra Fort, which is approximately 5 km away. The auto-rickshaw fare will be around ₹50-₹100.
Bus
Interstate buses to Agra are available from various cities in Northern Plains. Look for the nearest bus station and board a bus heading to Agra. The journey may take 3-4 hours depending on traffic. Once in Agra, you can take a local rickshaw or taxi to Agra Fort, which is about 3 km away from the bus station. Expect to pay around ₹30-₹70 for a rickshaw.
Public Transportation
If you are in Agra already, use local public transportation. The city has a network of electric auto-rickshaws and cycle rickshaws. You can easily find one to take you to Agra Fort. The fare ranges from ₹20 to ₹50 depending on your starting location in Agra.
