If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major city, Akola. Head east on the NH53 highway towards Balapur. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Balapur. Follow the local roads, and keep an eye out for signs directing you to the fort. Balapur Fort is located at MQCF+4GF, Shahr, Balapur, Maharashtra 444302. Parking is available near the fort.
Public Transportation
To reach Balapur Fort via public transport, take a train to Akola Railway Station, which is well-connected to major cities in India. From Akola, you can catch a local bus or hire an auto-rickshaw to Balapur. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes, and the fare is around INR 30-50. Once you arrive in Balapur, you can either walk or take a local auto-rickshaw to the fort, which is just a short distance away.
