Walking
If you are starting from the Panaji Kadamba Bus Stand, head northwest on NH66 towards the D.B. Bandodkar Road. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the junction with the Altinho Road. Turn left onto Altinho Road and walk for about 500 meters until you reach the bus stop. From there, take a local bus to Candolim. The bus will take you to Candolim Beach, and from there, you can take a taxi or auto-rickshaw to Aguada Fort. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Aguada Fort.
Public Bus
From the Panaji Kadamba Bus Stand, board a bus heading to Candolim. Buses are frequent, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Candolim, you can either hire an auto-rickshaw or take a local taxi to Aguada Fort, which is approximately 3 km away. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to 'Fort Aguada', which is a well-known landmark.
Bike Rental
If you prefer more flexibility, consider renting a bicycle or a scooter from a rental shop in Panaji. Head towards the NH66 and follow the road signs to Candolim. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Candolim, continue on Fort Aguada Road, which will lead you directly to Aguada Fort.
Auto-Rickshaw
From anywhere in Panaji, you can hire an auto-rickshaw directly to Aguada Fort. Simply ask the driver to take you to Fort Aguada, and ensure that you agree on a fare before starting your journey. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
