If you are starting from the Panaji Church (Basilica of Bom Jesus), head east on Church Square towards the Municipal Garden. Continue straight onto Dr. Afonso de Albuquerque Road. After about 700 meters, turn left onto Avenida Dom João de Castro. The Goa State Museum will be on your right, near the Adil Shah Palace.

From the Mandovi River waterfront (near the Boat Jetty), walk towards the main road, and take the road leading to Patto Colony. Follow the road straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Avenida Dom João de Castro. Turn left and continue for about 300 meters; the Goa State Museum will be on your left.

Board a bus at the Panaji Bus Stand that is heading towards Patto Colony. Get off at the Patto Colony stop. From there, walk straight for about 500 meters on Avenida Dom João de Castro, and the Goa State Museum will be on your right, located at the Adil Shah Palace.
