    If you are starting from the popular Aurobindo Ashram, head southwest on Rue de la Marine towards Rue Saint-Gilles. Continue on Rue de la Marine for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn right onto Rue de la République and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will see the famous Gandhi Statue ahead in the square. From there, continue straight onto Eswaran Dharmaraja Kovil Street. The Mahakavi Bharathiyar Memorial Centre will be located on your left at No. 20, Eswaran Dharmaraja Kovil St, Viratipatu, Heritage Town.

    Starting from the Pondicherry Museum, walk east towards the beach on Rue de la République. After about 500 meters, take a left onto Eswaran Dharmaraja Kovil Street. Continue along this street for around 200 meters, and you will find Mahakavi Bharathiyar Memorial Centre at No. 20, Eswaran Dharmaraja Kovil St, Viratipatu, Heritage Town, on your right-hand side.
