If you are in the town center of Pondicherry, head towards the East Coast Road (ECR) and take the road leading towards Auroville. You can rent a bicycle from various rental shops around the promenade or in the town center. Once on ECR, follow the signs to Auroville, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. After reaching the Auroville entrance, continue straight until you see Sadhana Forest Road on your left. Turn onto Sadhana Forest Road, and Sadhana Forest will be about 1 kilometer down the road on your left.

From anywhere in Pondicherry, you can easily find an auto-rickshaw. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Sadhana Forest in Auroville. Most drivers are familiar with the location. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach the entrance of Auroville, you can ask to be dropped at Sadhana Forest Road, which is about 1 kilometer from the entrance.
