Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of White Town, start at the intersection of Rue de la Caserne and Rue de la Marine. Head east on Rue de la Marine until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto Rue de la Bourdonnais and continue straight. After about 500 meters, you will reach the junction with Maraimalai Adigal Salai. Turn right onto Maraimalai Adigal Salai, and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the entrance to the Botanical Garden on your left, near the Anna Statue.

  • Cycle Rickshaw

    If you prefer to take a cycle rickshaw, you can find one near the Promenade Beach area in White Town. Tell the driver you want to go to the Botanical Garden (WRJC+3XM, Marimalai, near Anna Statue). The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and should cost around ₹50-₹100. Once you reach the garden, the driver can drop you off at the main entrance.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    You can take a bus from the White Town area to reach the Botanical Garden. Look for buses that head towards Orleanpet. The nearest bus stop is located on Rue de la Marine. Board any bus heading towards Orleanpet and get down at the Anna Statue stop. From there, the Botanical Garden is just a short walk away (approximately 200 meters).
