Walking
If you are in Shivajinagar, start at Shivaji Nagar Bus Station. From there, head southeast on Ghole Road towards Tilak Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pune University Road. Turn left onto Pune University Road and walk for about 10 minutes. You will then reach the junction with Hanuman Tekdi Road. Turn right onto Hanuman Tekdi Road and continue walking for another 5 minutes. Agarkar Smarak will be on your left, located on a hill at the coordinates GRFM+QQP. Look for the sign marking the historical landmark.
Rickshaw
If you prefer to take a rickshaw, you can hire one from any point in Shivajinagar. Ask the driver to take you to 'Agarkar Smarak, Hanuman Tekdi.' The fare should be approximately ₹50-₹100, depending on your exact starting point and traffic conditions. The rickshaw will drop you off close to the entrance of Agarkar Smarak, making it a convenient option.
Public Transport
You can also opt for a local bus. Board a bus heading towards Pune University or Kothrud. Get off at the 'Pune University' stop, which is approximately 2 km from Agarkar Smarak. From there, you can either walk or take a rickshaw to reach your destination. If walking, head down Pune University Road, then turn right onto Hanuman Tekdi Road. The walk will take around 20-25 minutes.
