A wonderful afternoon tour!

What a wonderful way to spend a few hours in Pushkar with a lovely guide Manish. We climbed the mountain and chatted about the area, life and nature. We went into a Holy man’s meditation cave, we went to another temple with monkeys in the trees and rose quartz and natural crystal all around. We washed our hands in a natural spring, we talked about how Pushkar had changed since my last visit. For a young man his English was perfect, his knowledge of the area outstanding and his love and enthusiasm for sharing his birth place beautiful. We had a chai together and we travelled the back roads into Pushkar so that I could meet some friends I hadn’t seen for years. He then took me to one of my favourite stalls the wood carving and back to my hotel safely. What I loved was his calmness and his happy smile. In many years travelling to Pushkar with my husband I’ve never used a guide but this was a very safe way to do a one to one tour and see something just a bit different. Be prepared for a bit of a climb, I managed in my sandals but wouldn’t advise it. Be prepared to see nature in its wildest and beautiful form. Enjoy a few hours and come back feeling alive and like you’ve passed the afternoon with a friend. I would definitely refer him to anyone going to Pushkar, from young to old there’s a tour that will suit. Thank you Manish, all the very best to you and will see you again!

Wonderful guided tour through Ajmer

Throughout the guided tour with my wonderful guide Kopal I kept thinking: What would have happened had I visited the Ajmer Fort and Jain Temple on my own? I simply would not have understood anything! Kopal elevated my tour through his deep knowledge and explanations to unexpected heights, truly. We enjoyed some typical local sweets and saffron lassi just when I thought of dying of starvation. Later, we skipped the Mosque, but Kopal offered to compensate with a sunset tour in Pushkar the same day which was equally revealing and wonderful. I highly recommend this experience for travelers in Ajmer.
