If you are driving from Jaipur, take the NH 48 towards Ajmer. After approximately 60 km, take the exit towards Sambhar Lake from NH 58. Follow the signs to Sambhar Lake, which is about 15 km from the highway. The total drive from Jaipur should take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Make sure to have some water and snacks for the road.
By Train
Board a train from Jaipur to Sambhar Lake Railway Station. There are several trains available throughout the day. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. From the Sambhar Lake Railway Station, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to reach the lake, which is about 10 km away.
