Cloud End: A Serene Retreat in Mussoorie

Getting There

• Walking

  From the main area of Rishikesh, head towards the Rishikesh Bus Station. Once you reach the bus station, look for a local bus or shared auto-rickshaw heading towards Dehradun. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Mussoorie. The journey will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on traffic. After reaching Mussoorie, get off at the Library Bazar stop. From there, Cloud End is a short walk. Head up the Mall Road, and you will see signage directing you towards Cloud End. Follow the signs to reach your destination.

• Trekking

  For the adventurous, you can trek from Rishikesh to Mussoorie. Start from the outskirts of Rishikesh and follow the trekking trails leading up the hills. This route provides beautiful views of the landscape. Note that this trek is challenging and may take 5-7 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to carry sufficient water and snacks. Once you reach Mussoorie, ask locals for directions to Library Bazar where Cloud End is located.

• Shared Taxi

  Find a shared taxi or cab service at the main taxi stand in Rishikesh. Request a ride to Mussoorie, specifically to Library Bazar. The taxi ride will take around 1-2 hours. Once you arrive at Library Bazar, Cloud End is a short distance away. You can ask the driver to drop you off as close to Cloud End as possible, or simply follow the signs from Library Bazar.
