Ensure you inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Kempty Falls or Lakhwad, as the bus may not stop directly at the falls.

Once you arrive at the Lakhwad bus stop, exit the bus and look for signs directing you towards Kempty Falls. From the bus stop, begin walking along the Yamunotri road. The falls are approximately 2 kilometers from the bus stop. Follow the road until you reach a sign indicating the entrance to Kempty Falls. Be prepared for a short uphill walk.

Alternatively, from Rishikesh, you can take an auto-rickshaw or shared taxi directly to Kempty Falls. This option provides a more comfortable journey. Simply tell the driver 'Kempty Falls' and they will take you there. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic conditions.
