Getting There

Walking
From the center of Rishikesh, head towards the main road leading to Tehri Dam. Walk straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the bus stand. From there, catch a local bus heading to Mussoorie. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Mussoorie, disembark at the Library Chowk bus stop. From Library Chowk, take a local taxi or a shared auto-rickshaw to Landour, which is about 3 kilometers away. Inform the driver to drop you at Lal Tibba Binoculars bazar. You will see signs directing you towards Lal Tibba. Follow the signs for about 1 kilometer uphill, and you will arrive at Lal Tibba Scenic Point.

From Rishikesh, go to the Rishikesh bus terminal. Board a bus that goes to Mussoorie; buses run frequently throughout the day. The bus ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Mussoorie, get off at the Mall Road stop. From the Mall Road, you can either walk uphill to Lal Tibba, which is about 2 kilometers, or you can take a shared taxi or auto-rickshaw directly to Lal Tibba Binoculars bazar. The taxi ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the viewpoint.

Once you reach Mussoorie, ask the driver to take you to Lal Tibba Binoculars bazar. It’s located about 7 kilometers from Mussoorie city center. The taxi can drop you off directly at the entrance to the scenic point, making it a convenient option.

From any point in Rishikesh, head to the main road, and find a shared auto-rickshaw going towards Mussoorie. The fare is quite reasonable. After about 1.5 hours, you'll reach Mussoorie. Get off at the Library Chowk. From Library Chowk, you can take another shared auto-rickshaw to Landour, which is approximately 3 kilometers away. When you arrive at Lal Tibba Binoculars bazar, follow the path leading to the scenic point.
