Auto Rickshaw
From Rishikesh, head to the main road (Rajaji National Park Road) and look for an auto rickshaw stand. You can take an auto rickshaw directly to Haridwar. Request the driver to drop you off at Brahm Vihar Colony, Kankhal. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kankhal, ask for directions to the Maa Anandamayee Ashram, which is a well-known landmark in the area.

Head to the local bus station in Rishikesh, located near the main market area. Board a bus heading to Haridwar. During the journey, inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Kankhal. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Kankhal, ask locals for the Maa Anandamayee Ashram, as it is a prominent place in the area.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and are located near the banks of the Ganges, you can start your journey by walking towards the Laxman Jhula. From Laxman Jhula, proceed to the main road and head towards Haridwar. The walk is approximately 20 kilometers and may take around 4-5 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to ask for directions to Kankhal along the way, as locals are familiar with the ashram.
