Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Rishikesh, start by heading towards the Laxman Jhula bridge. Once you reach the bridge, cross it to get to the other side of the Ganges River. After crossing, continue straight on the road until you reach the main intersection. From there, take a left turn onto Rishikesh-Haridwar Road. Walk straight for approximately 15-20 minutes until you see signs for Haridwar. Continue following this road; you'll eventually enter Haridwar, where Khanna Nagar is located. Look for local landmarks, such as the Hari Ki Pauri Ghat, and ask for directions to Khanna Nagar as you approach the area.

• Auto Rickshaw

  From any point in Rishikesh, you can easily hail an auto rickshaw. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to 'Saptrishi Ashram, Khanna Nagar, Haridwar'. The drivers are generally familiar with the area. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you have some small change ready as drivers may not always have change for larger notes.

• Public Bus

  You can take a local bus from Rishikesh to Haridwar. Head to the Rishikesh bus station, which is located near the main market area. Look for buses heading towards Haridwar. Once you board, inform the conductor you want to get off at Khanna Nagar. The bus ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes. After arriving in Haridwar, you may need to take a short walk or an auto rickshaw to reach Saptrishi Ashram.
