Triveni Ghat: The Spiritual Heart of Rishikesh

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying near Laxman Jhula, start walking towards the Laxman Jhula Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight on the road until you reach the intersection. At the intersection, take a left onto Swarg Ashram Road, which will lead you directly to Triveni Ghat. The distance is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take you around 20-25 minutes on foot.

• Auto-Rickshaw

  Find an auto-rickshaw at your location in Rishikesh. Tell the driver 'Triveni Ghat' (you can also show them the address: Triveni Ghat, Mayakund). The ride should take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. The fare is usually around 30-50 INR, but always confirm the fare before starting your journey.

• Local Bus

  If you are near the Rishikesh Bus Stand, you can catch a local bus heading towards the Triveni Ghat. Ask the conductor or locals for the bus that stops at Triveni Ghat. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes, and the fare will be approximately 10-20 INR. Make sure to get off at Triveni Ghat stop.

• Bicycle Rental

  You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Rishikesh. After renting, head towards Laxman Jhula and from there, follow the same route as walking. It’s a scenic ride along the river, taking approximately 15 minutes to reach Triveni Ghat.
