Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction at Motphran. At the junction, take a left turn onto the Laitumkhrah Road. Keep walking straight for about 2 kilometers, passing through Laitumkhrah market. As you walk, you will notice signs for Mawlynrei; follow these signs. After approximately 2 kilometers, you’ll reach the Mawlynrei area. Look for specific landmarks like local shops and community centers to get your bearings. Rngei is located within Mawlynrei, specifically at HXH2+4MF. Ask locals for directions if needed, as they can guide you to the exact spot.

Public Transport (Bus)

From the Police Bazaar, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a local bus heading towards Mawlynrei. Buses in Shillong are usually colorful and marked with their destinations. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Mawlynrei.
