If you are starting from Police Bazaar, head east on GS Road towards the main market area. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Jowai Road. Turn left onto Jowai Road and continue walking. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Mawlai Mawdatbaki. Look for the WelCome to Shillong Board located at HVRF+HQ7, which will be on your right side. The board is located near a local market area, making it a good landmark.

From the Shillong Golf Course, exit the course and head northwest towards the main road (Mawlai Mawdatbaki Road). Turn left and walk along Mawlai Mawdatbaki Road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the WelCome to Shillong Board on your left, just after you pass the Mawlai Mawdatbaki community center.
