Getting there

Walking

If you are at Police Bazaar, a central hub in Shillong, start by heading towards the main road. Walk down the main street towards the direction of the local market. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the exit towards Lachumiere. You will see a sign that indicates the way to Lachumiere. Walk straight for about 1 km, and you will come across a small bridge. After crossing the bridge, take a left onto Lower Lachumiere. Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast is located at number 31 on the left side of the street.

Auto Rickshaw

From the local market area in Police Bazaar, you can hire an auto rickshaw to take you to Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast. Just tell the driver 'Lachumiere, 31 Lower'. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right outside the entrance to the bed and breakfast.

Local Bus

If you are near the Shillong Bus Stand, look for buses heading towards Lachumiere. Board a bus that has 'Lachumiere' displayed on its front. The fare is quite affordable, usually around 10-20 INR. After getting off at Lachumiere, walk down Lower Lachumiere Road for about 500 meters, and you will find Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast at number 31 on the left side of the road.
