    If you are starting from Police Bazaar, walk towards GS Road. Continue straight on GS Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the Wards Lake on your right. After reaching the intersection with the road leading to Wards Lake, cross over and head towards the entrance of the lake. The Meghalaya Tourist Information Centre, where Shillong Heritage Walks is located, is directly opposite the main entrance gate of Wards Lake.

    From Police Bazaar, you can take an auto rickshaw to the Meghalaya Tourist Information Centre. Inform the driver to drop you off opposite Wards Lake gate on GS Road. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will see the Meghalaya Tourist Information Centre where Shillong Heritage Walks is situated.

  • Walking from Wards Lake

    If you are at Wards Lake, exit the park and head towards GS Road. The Meghalaya Tourist Information Centre is just across the road from the lake's main gate.
