Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Mall Road, start by heading towards the High Court. From the High Court, take the road that leads to the Ridge. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Jakhoo Road. Follow Jakhoo Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance of Jakhoo Temple. You can stop here if you'd like to visit the temple or continue walking straight. After passing the temple, follow the signs for Annandale Road. Continue on Annandale Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the Army Heritage Museum on your left. The museum is located on Annadale Rd, Annadale, Shimla.

• Local Bus

  From Mall Road, head to the nearest local bus stop. Take a bus heading towards Annandale. Inform the bus driver you're going to the Army Heritage Museum. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the museum. Once you get off, walk a short distance to the museum entrance located on Annadale Rd.

• Shared Taxi

  Locate a shared taxi stand on Mall Road. Take a shared taxi that is going towards Annandale. The taxi will drop you off at a point close to the Army Heritage Museum. From there, it is a short walk to the museum entrance. Make sure to mention your destination to the driver to ensure you are dropped off at the right location.

• Trekking

  For adventure seekers, you can trek from Mall Road to the Army Heritage Museum. Begin your trek by climbing up the Jakhoo Hill path. Follow the trail that leads you towards Annandale. The trek is about 2 kilometers and will take you through beautiful pine forests. Keep an eye out for the signs that direct you towards Annandale Road, and continue until you see the Army Heritage Museum.
