Getting there

Walking

If you are at The Mall Road, simply walk towards the east side. Keep heading straight, and you will reach the Ridge, which is a well-known open space and a popular gathering point in Shimla. As you walk, you will pass by numerous shops, cafes, and historical buildings. The Ridge is directly accessible from The Mall and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

If you are near Christ Church, just continue walking towards the east along The Mall Road. The Ridge is very close and can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. Look for the signs pointing towards The Ridge, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

From the Shimla Railway Station, head towards The Mall Road. You can either walk along the steep incline or take a local bus that goes to The Mall. Once you reach The Mall, walk towards the east until you arrive at the Ridge. It will take approximately 20-25 minutes to walk from the station to the Ridge.

If you are at Jakhoo Temple, descend the hill towards the city center. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to The Mall Road. Once you reach The Mall, head eastward for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the Ridge.
