If you are starting from the Mall Road, head towards the Ridge. As you walk up the Mall Road, keep an eye out for the Ridge area which is a popular spot with several cafes and shops. Once you reach the Ridge, look for the pathway leading towards the US Club. The Historical Pole is located at the intersection of the Ridge and the path to the US Club. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Mall Road.

From the Shimla Railway Station, exit the station and take the path that leads up to the Mall Road. This is a steep climb, so take your time. Once you reach the Mall Road, turn left and walk towards the Ridge. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Ridge area. Look for the signs pointing towards the US Club to find the Historical Pole.

If you are at the Jakhoo Temple, you can take a trail that leads down towards the Ridge area. The trek will take around 30 minutes. Once you reach the Ridge, head towards the US Club, where you will find the Historical Pole. The path is marked and offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains.
