Walking
From Summer Hill, you can start by heading towards the main road, which is known as the Circular Road. Walk down to the junction where the Circular Road meets the Ridge Road. This should take you approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you reach the Circular Road, turn left and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach The Ridge area.

After reaching The Ridge, you will see the iconic Christ Church on your left. Keep walking along The Ridge towards the US Club. The Jakhu Ropeway entrance is located near the US Club area. From The Ridge, it will take you about 5-10 minutes to reach the Jakhu Ropeway station.
Jakhu Ropeway
At the Jakhu Ropeway station, you will need to purchase tickets for the ride to Jakhu Hill. The ticket prices are approximately INR 500 for a round trip. The ropeway operates daily from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Once you have your tickets, you can enjoy a scenic ride that takes you to the top of Jakhu Hill, where you can explore the famous Hanuman Temple and enjoy panoramic views of Shimla.
