Car
If you're driving from Gangtok, take the NH10 road towards Pelling. The distance is approximately 115 km and will take about 4-5 hours. Once you reach Geyzing town, look for signs directing you to Rabdentse Ruins. From Geyzing, it’s a short 10-minute drive (around 5 km) to the entrance of the ruins. You can park your vehicle at the designated area near the entrance.
Public Transportation
From Gangtok, you can take a shared taxi or bus to Pelling. Shared taxis are available at the SNT bus station in Gangtok and will cost around INR 300-500 per person. The journey to Pelling takes approximately 4-5 hours. Once you reach Pelling, you can hire a local taxi (costing around INR 300-500) to take you to Rabdentse Ruins, which is about 2 km away from Pelling. Ensure to negotiate the fare in advance.
Walking
If you're in Pelling and prefer a more adventurous route, you can walk to the ruins from the Pelling town. The walk is approximately 2 km and will take around 30-40 minutes. Follow the path leading from the town center towards the ruins. The trail is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
