From Krishnagiri, take the NH77 towards Pennagaram. Follow the signs to Hogenakkal Falls, which should be approximately 45 km from Pennagaram. The total drive from Bangalore to Hogenakkal Falls is about 130 km and takes around 3-4 hours depending on traffic. There is a parking area available near the falls.

To reach Hogenakkal Falls using public transportation, first, take a bus from Bangalore to Krishnagiri. Several state-run buses operate this route and the journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Krishnagiri, take a local bus or hire a taxi to Pennagaram. From Pennagaram, you can either take another bus or hire an auto-rickshaw to Hogenakkal Falls, which is approximately 45 km away. The total cost may vary, but expect to pay around ₹200-₹300 for the bus from Bangalore to Krishnagiri and an additional ₹150-₹300 for the local transport.
