If you are driving, start from your location in Sundarbans and head towards Canning. Follow the road signs leading to Canning, which is approximately 40 km away from most parts of Sundarbans. Once you reach Canning, take the road towards Kakdwip. After approximately 20 km, you will see signs for Halliday Island. Continue on this road until you reach the ferry terminal at the riverbank. Here, you will need to park your car in the designated area.

To reach Halliday Island via public transportation, take a local bus or shared auto-rickshaw from your location in Sundarbans to Canning bus station. The fare is usually around ₹30-₹50. From Canning, you can catch another bus or shared auto-rickshaw to Kakdwip, which should cost around ₹20. Once you arrive in Kakdwip, you will need to get to the ferry terminal.
