If you are driving from the nearest major city, Kolkata, take the NH12 (formerly known as NH35) heading south towards Canning. After about 50 kilometers, follow the signs to Gosaba. Once you reach Gosaba, continue to follow the signs directing you towards Dayapur. The park entrance is located in Dayapur, Gosaba, West Bengal 743370. Make sure to have cash on hand for any tolls along the route.

From Kolkata, you can take a bus from the Esplanade bus terminal to Canning. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you get to Canning, you can catch a local bus or an auto-rickshaw to Gosaba. Upon reaching Gosaba, you can either walk or take a rickshaw to Dayapur, where Sunderbans National Park is located. Bus fares from Kolkata to Canning typically range from INR 50 to INR 100.
