• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Salem, which is approximately 30 km away from Yercaud. Take the NH44 towards Yercaud. Upon reaching Yercaud town, follow the signs towards Manjakuttai View Point. The road is well-marked, and you will drive through some scenic routes. The last stretch is a steep uphill drive, so ensure your vehicle is in good condition. Parking is available near the viewpoint.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, catch a bus from Salem to Yercaud. Buses are frequent, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Yercaud, you can hire a local auto-rickshaw to take you to Manjakuttai View Point. The auto-rickshaw fare is approximately ₹100-₹150, depending on your negotiation skills. It’s a short ride of about 15-20 minutes.

• Shared Taxi

  Alternatively, you can take a shared taxi from Salem to Yercaud. This option is a bit more expensive than the bus but offers a more comfortable ride. The fare ranges from ₹200-₹300 per person. Once in Yercaud, hire an auto-rickshaw to reach Manjakuttai View Point. This method will also take around 15-20 minutes.
