Car
If you are traveling by car, the easiest way to reach the Great Himalayas is to first navigate to the town of Ranikhet in Uttarakhand. From Ranikhet, head towards Majkhali via the NH109 road. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach the Digoti road. Follow the Digoti road for another 5 km, and you will find the Great Himalayas at MGJ5+G5C, Majkhali, Someshwar Range. Ensure your vehicle is equipped for hilly terrain, and keep an eye out for local traffic and pedestrians.
Public Transportation
To reach the Great Himalayas using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your current location in The Himalayas to Ranikhet. Several local bus services operate on this route, and the fare typically ranges from ₹150 to ₹300 depending on the distance. Once in Ranikhet, you can take an auto-rickshaw or a shared taxi to Majkhali. The fare for this segment is approximately ₹50 to ₹100. After arriving in Majkhali, ask locals for directions to Digoti road, which is about a 5 km walk from the main area. Be prepared for a scenic walk, and consider hiring a local guide for assistance.
