Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Agartala, take the NH8 towards the south. Continue on this highway for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the town of Teliamura. From Teliamura, take the left turn onto the road that leads towards Mukchhari. Follow this road for about 15 kilometers. Narkel Kunj will be located on your right side as you enter Mukchhari. Make sure to have a GPS or map handy, as some local road signs may not be clear.

• Bus

  From Agartala, you can take a bus from the Agartala Bus Station to Teliamura. Buses run regularly and the fare is typically around INR 100-150. Upon reaching Teliamura, you can hire a local auto-rickshaw to Mukchhari for about INR 200-300. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting your journey. The auto-rickshaw drivers are familiar with Narkel Kunj, so just mention your destination.

• Shared Taxi

  Another convenient option is to take a shared taxi from Agartala to Teliamura, which can be found near the bus station. The fare is usually around INR 150 per person and taxis leave when full. After reaching Teliamura, hire an auto-rickshaw to Mukchhari. The total travel time should be around 2-3 hours depending on the traffic.

  For the more adventurous travelers, renting a bike in Agartala is a great way to explore Tripura. Rental shops are available in the city, and the cost typically ranges from INR 300-500 per day. Follow the same route as mentioned for cars, taking NH8 towards Teliamura, then the left turn towards Mukchhari. This option gives you the flexibility to explore the scenic routes at your own pace.
