Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Agartala, the capital of Tripura. Take the NH8 highway towards Kumarghat. After approximately 80 km, turn left onto the Kamalpur - Kumarghat Road. Continue for about 15 km until you reach Saikar Bazar. From there, follow the signs to Tuisoi Waterfall. The last stretch involves navigating through a small dirt road leading into the Longtarai Reserve Forest. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for such terrain, or consider parking at Saikar Bazar and hiring a local vehicle for the forest route.
Public Transportation
To reach Tuisoi Waterfall using public transportation, take a bus from Agartala to Kumarghat. Buses depart frequently, and the journey takes around 3 hours. Once in Kumarghat, you can take a local share taxi or auto-rickshaw to Saikar Bazar. The fare for the auto-rickshaw should be around ₹100-₹150. From Saikar Bazar, you can either walk or hire a local vehicle to navigate the narrow dirt road leading into Longtarai R.F. The local vehicle fare may range from ₹300-₹500, depending on negotiation.
Walking
If you are already near Saikar Bazar, you can walk the last leg to Tuisoi Waterfall. It's about a 3 km trek through the forest. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water. Follow the marked trail, which will lead you through lush greenery. The path can be challenging, so keep an eye on your surroundings and look out for other trekkers for guidance.
