Walking
If you are in the city center of Thiruvananthapuram, start at the East Fort area, which is a well-known landmark. From East Fort, head towards the east on MG Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Chackai Junction. At Chackai Junction, take a left turn onto Kartika Nagar Road. The Pettah Shiva Temple is located approximately 1 kilometer ahead on your left. Look for the temple's distinctive architecture as you approach.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station, take a local bus heading towards Pettah. Ensure that the bus number you choose has a stop at Pettah. It’s about a 20-minute ride. Once you arrive at the Pettah bus stop, exit the bus and walk along the main road. The temple is located a short distance away, just follow the signs or ask locals for directions.
Auto-rickshaw
You can hire an auto-rickshaw from any major location in Thiruvananthapuram, such as the Central Railway Station or the city center. Inform the driver that you want to go to Pettah Shiva Temple. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right outside the temple.
