Auto-rickshaw
If you're in the heart of Trivandrum, head to the nearest auto-rickshaw stand. You can find them at popular spots such as the East Fort or near the railway station. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Sri Chitra Art Gallery' or provide the address: 'Museum Bains compound Rd, Kanaka Nagar, Nanthancodu'. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, look for the entrance to the gallery, which will be marked.
Public Bus
From the main bus station in Trivandrum, board a bus heading towards Nanthancodu. Make sure to check the bus route on the display board. Once you're on the bus, ask the conductor to notify you when you reach the stop for 'Museum Bains compound Rd'. This should take approximately 30 minutes. After getting off, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Sri Chitra Art Gallery on your left.
Walking
If you are near the Kerala State Science and Technology Museum, you can walk to the Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Head southeast on Museum Rd towards Kanaka Nagar. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. After crossing the road, you will reach Museum Bains compound Rd. Turn left and walk for another 200 meters, and you will see the entrance to the gallery.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, there are several bicycle rental shops in the city. Rent a bicycle and head towards Kanaka Nagar. Start from the East Fort area and ride straight down to Museum Bains compound Rd, which is approximately 3 kilometers away. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the road, look for the gallery on your right.
