Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near the City Palace, start walking southwest towards Chandpole. Follow the main road until you reach the intersection with Chandpole Maji. Turn left and walk towards the corner of the lake. Ambrai Ghat will be on your right, just before you reach the lake.

  • Rickshaw

    From the Jagdish Temple, you can hire an auto-rickshaw. Tell the driver to take you to Ambrai Ghat, located at Chandpole Maji, near the lake. The ride should take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach, the Ghat is located at the corner of the lake, so you can easily spot it.

  • Local Bus

    Take a local bus heading towards Pichola Lake. You can catch the bus from the main bus stand in Udaipur. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Chandpole. Once you arrive, walk towards the lake; Ambrai Ghat will be on your left at the corner of Chandpole Maji.

  • Bicycle Rental
