If you are in the city center of Udaipur, start by heading towards the famous Jagdish Temple. From there, take a left onto Jagdish Chowk and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Fateh Sagar Road. Turn right onto Fateh Sagar Road and follow the road as it curves along the lake. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will reach Fateh Sagar Pal, which is situated on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake.

From any point in Udaipur, you can easily find an auto-rickshaw. Just tell the driver 'Fateh Sagar Pal' or 'Fateh Sagar Lake'. If you are near the City Palace or Jagdish Temple, it should cost around ₹100-₹150 and take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of Fateh Sagar Pal, which is right by the lake.
