Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying near the City Palace, start your journey by heading towards Jagdish Temple. From Jagdish Temple, take the road towards the Bada Bazaar. Walk through the bustling market area for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Fateh Sagar Lake. Turn left at the intersection and continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way. Once you reach Fateh Sagar Lake, continue walking along the lakeside path for about 500 meters until you see a sign for Ganapati Nagar. Turn right into Ganapati Nagar and walk a short distance (approximately 300 meters) until you find Gangodbhav Kund on your left.

• Rickshaw

  From your accommodation in Udaipur, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to take you to Gangodbhav Kund. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to Ganapati Nagar. The ride will typically take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to show them the exact address: Ayad, Ganapati Nagar, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001. Upon arrival, the driver will drop you off close to the entrance of the Kund.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  You can take a local bus from the main bus stand in Udaipur. Look for buses heading towards Ganapati Nagar or Ayad. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Once you get off the bus at Ganapati Nagar, ask locals for directions to Gangodbhav Kund, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the main road and keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Kund.
