If you are starting from the City Palace, exit the City Palace complex and head towards the main road, Fateh Sagar Road. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Gulab Bagh Road. Turn right onto Gulab Bagh Road. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the entrance to Gulab Bagh on your left.

Find a local rickshaw stand (auto-rickshaws are common in Udaipur) near your location. Tell the driver 'Gulab Bagh' or show them the address: HMCV+V3H, Gulab Bagh Rd. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Gulab Bagh.

The entrance to Gulab Bagh will be on your left.
