From Dehradun, take NH7 towards Rishikesh. After Rishikesh, continue on NH58 towards Haridwar, then take a right onto NH72. Follow NH72 until you reach Kotdwar. From Kotdwar, take the road towards Pauri Garhwal. You will pass through several small villages. Once you reach Gerur, look for the signposts directing you towards Bhenkal Tal. The final stretch involves a narrow road leading to the lake. Make sure to check local traffic conditions and road quality as you go.

From Dehradun, take a bus to Kotdwar. Buses run frequently from the Dehradun ISBT (Inter-State Bus Terminal). From Gerur, you may need to hike or arrange a local taxi to take you the last part of the journey to Bhenkal Tal.
