Car

If you are traveling by car, start from Nainital. Take the NH109 road towards Kilbury Road. After about 10 km, you will reach a junction; take the right turn onto Kilbury Road. Continue straight for around 2 km, and you will find the Himalaya Darshan viewpoint on your left side. There is no entry fee, but make sure to park your car in designated areas to avoid fines.

Bus

For those using public transport, take a bus from Nainital to Khurpatal. Buses are available frequently, and it takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Khurpatal, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to reach Himalaya Darshan, which is only about 5 km away. The taxi fare is approximately INR 200-300, depending on negotiation.

Rickshaw

If you are in Nainital and prefer a more local experience, you can hire a shared auto-rickshaw from the main market area directly to Himalaya Darshan. The ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around INR 50-100 per person. Make sure to confirm the fare before boarding.

Trekking

For the adventurous, there is an option to trek from Nainital to Himalaya Darshan. The trek is around 7 km and takes about 2-3 hours. Start early in the morning to enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water and snacks. There are no entry costs, but ensure you are physically fit for trekking.
