If you're in the main area of Varanasi, start at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. From the temple, head southwest on Vishwanath Gali towards the Ganges river. You will reach the riverbank where you can see the ghats. Continue walking along the river, heading south along the ghats. Follow the river for about 1 km until you see the Dattatreya Math. Scindia Ghat is located next to this math. It’s a beautiful place to watch the Ganges and the daily activities of the locals.
