Walking
From Varanasi Cantt Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Varanasi - Lucknow Road (NH 19). Turn right and walk for another 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the Assi Road. Turn left onto Assi Road, which will lead you directly to Assi Ghat. It's approximately a 30-minute walk.
Auto-Rickshaw
You can easily find auto-rickshaws outside Varanasi Cantt Railway Station. Tell the driver to take you to 'Assi Ghat' or provide the address: 'Nagwa Rd, Assi Ghat, Shivala, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh 221005'. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic and will cost around ₹50-₹100.
Cycle Rickshaw
Cycle rickshaws are available near Varanasi Cantt Railway Station. It's a more leisurely option to reach Assi Ghat. Simply request a ride to Assi Ghat, and the fare should be approximately ₹30-₹60. The journey will take around 20-25 minutes.
