Walking

If you are starting from the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, head southwest on Vishwanath Gali towards the Main Ghat. Continue straight until you reach Dashashwamedh Ghat. From Dashashwamedh Ghat, walk along the riverbank (Ganga) towards the south. You will pass several other ghats, including Manikarnika Ghat. Keep walking for about 20 minutes until you reach Assi Ghat, which is marked by its distinctive architecture and lively atmosphere.

From your location in Varanasi, you can hire an auto-rickshaw. Simply tell the driver 'Assi Ghat' or show them the address: 'Nagwa Rd, Assi Ghat, Shivala, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh 221005'.
