Car
If you're driving from Munnar, head south on NH85. Continue for about 4 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Munnar Tea Museum. Take a left turn onto the road that leads to Pothamedu. Follow the signs for Pothamedu View Point, which is about 4 kilometers from the junction. The road is well-maintained but can be steep and winding, so drive cautiously. Once you reach Pothamedu, you will find designated parking areas. The view point is a short walk from the parking.
Public Transportation
To visit Pothamedu View Point using public transport, first take a bus from Munnar to Pothamedu. Buses run regularly from the Munnar bus stand. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pothamedu bus stop, the view point is approximately 1 kilometer away. You can either walk or hire a local auto-rickshaw to take you to the view point. The walk is scenic and gives you a chance to enjoy the lush surroundings.
