Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, walk straight down the Avenida de Portugal towards the Mandovi River. After about 10 minutes, turn right onto the Rua da Igreja and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Rua da Praia. Turn left and head towards the Old Goa area, which is around 8 km away. You may want to take a local bus or an auto-rickshaw if you prefer not to walk the entire distance.

Public Transport

From the Panaji Kadamba Bus Terminus, take a bus heading towards Old Goa. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Old Goa, look for signs directing you to the Church of St. Augustine Ruins. The tower is located about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head straight on the main road, and you will see the tower on your left.

Auto-Rickshaw

You can hire an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Panaji. Just tell the driver 'St. Augustine Tower in Old Goa.' The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off near the entrance to the ruins, from which the tower is a short walk.

Bicycle Rental

If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Panaji. Head towards the Old Goa area by following the Mandovi River. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes.
