If you are driving from Munnar, head southwest on the NH 49 towards Bison Valley. Continue for about 15 km, then turn left onto a smaller road following the signs for Chenkulam Dam. After about 5 km, you will reach the dam. There is parking available nearby.

From Munnar, take a local bus heading towards Bison Valley. The bus will drop you off at the Bison Valley bus stop. From there, it is about a 2 km walk to the Chenkulam Dam. Follow the road towards the dam, and you will see signs directing you along the way.
