From Indianapolis, take I-65 South for approximately 40 miles. Merge onto I-70 East and continue for about 30 miles. Take exit 119A for US-421 South toward Madison. Continue on US-421 South for about 30 miles until you reach Madison. Once in Madison, turn left onto W 1st St. The Lanier Mansion State Historic Site will be on your left at 601 W 1st St. Parking is available on-site.
